About Safe2Trust

Trust should be something you can show, not just claim.

Safe2Trust exists to make trustworthy people and businesses easy to recognise — and to give every deal a record both sides can point to.

Why we started it

Most deals fall apart at the same two points. First, you cannot easily tell whether the person or business in front of you is who they say they are. Second, once an agreement is made there is no shared record of it — so a payment that never arrives becomes a matter of word against word.

Existing tools only cover part of the problem. A bank confirms a payment, a bureau looks backwards at credit, and social platforms count likes. None of them tell you whether someone honours what they agreed to with you.

Safe2Trust takes the other route: verify the party once, carry that proof as a card you can scan or tap, and let the transactions you actually complete build a reputation that is transparent, appealable and yours.

What we actually do

Six things, all in one place, so verification and accountability do not live in separate systems.

We verify who is behind a card

Members register with their details, a verified phone number, and — where required — identity or company documents. An administrator reviews and approves the application before the account goes live.

We make identity easy to check

Every member carries a Safe2Trust card with their own Trust Card number, a QR code and an NFC tap. Scanning or tapping shows who you are dealing with before money or goods change hands.

We keep private things private

A full profile is never public. Someone who scans your card sees your name, verification badge and trust summary; contact details and full history are released only when you approve a permission request.

We give deals a shared record

Agreed transactions are logged with clear terms and a due date, then marked settled, overdue or disputed. Both parties see the same record, so there is one version of the truth.

We turn behaviour into a score

A trust score reflects a track record of honoured commitments, weighted so recent and varied activity counts more than sheer volume.

We log who looked at what

Every access to a profile is recorded in a consent log, so members can see who viewed their details and when.

How a trust score is built

A score starts when a member's first recorded interaction is settled. Honoured commitments raise it; overdue and disputed outcomes pull it down. What matters is not the raw count but the pattern.

Recent activity weighs more than activity from years ago, and a record spread across different counterparties and transaction types counts for more than repeating the same deal over and over — so a high score cannot be manufactured by churning small transactions with one party.

Negative marks are not permanent. After three years a negative record loses half its weight, and after a further three years it stops affecting the score altogether, so a bad patch does not follow a member for life.

Every calculation is written to an audit trail. When a score moves, there is a record of which marks caused it — including which ones decayed — so a member can always ask why.

What Safe2Trust is not

  • It is not a court. It decides nothing and declares no one guilty.
  • It is not a credit bureau. A trust score is not a credit rating.
  • It is not a debt collector. It does not chase anyone for money.
  • It is not advice. It does not give legal, financial or credit guidance.

Who it is for

For individuals

Build a personal reputation you can carry anywhere. Share a verified card, control who sees your details, and keep proof of every honoured deal.

For organisations

Give your business a verifiable corporate identity with registration details, a trust score, and an auditable trail of settlements and disputes.

The principles we hold to

These are not marketing lines — they are written into how the platform behaves.

A record is not a verdict

Safe2Trust does not declare anyone guilty. An overdue flag or a dispute records a disagreement between parties — not a finding of fault — and stays clearly marked until it is resolved.

Every record can be challenged

If you believe something about you is inaccurate, you can respond to it, raise a dispute and request a review. Nothing about a member is final.

Consent before disclosure

Personal and business details are shared only with the owner's permission, or with someone who is directly party to a transaction. Access is logged either way.

Scoring stays explainable

Scores are calculated from a member's own transaction outcomes under published rules, and every change is written to an audit trail that can be checked over time.
